Offshore Supply Vessel — An Offshore Supply Vessel (OSV) is a maritime vessel used to support offshore oil and gas installations by transporting supplies and providing offshore support services. It is not the same as Dynamic Positioning (DP) training — DP may be fitted on some OSVs, but “OSV” means the vessel class itself.
